We are currently recruiting for a Knowledge Management Analyst to join our growing Knowledge Management team in our Raleigh, North Carolina, headquarters. The Knowledge Management Analyst will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining Campbell Alliance’s intellectual property. Working with users of highly specialized information in a fast-paced business environment, this person will have three primary areas of responsibility:
• Knowledge librarianship: This person will serve as an on-call resource for consulting team members seeking to benefit from best practices and lessons learned in previous client engagements.
• Capturing project knowledge: Working with project managers, this person will collect, organize, classify, and archive project materials at the end of client engagements. This person will also manage the corporate taxonomy.
• Preserving intellectual property: This person will have a role in translating Campbell Alliance deliverables into reusable materials for future projects.

In addition, the Knowledge Management Analyst will play a key strategic role in Campbell Alliance’s drive to promote and foster a knowledge-sharing culture. This person will also contribute to the firm’s understanding of how information is accessed, shared, and used across departments and with external clients.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly comfortable with document management software (Documentum preferred), be customer-focused, and have the ability to manage work flow, think creatively, and prioritize. Experience with taxonomies, metadata models, and information architecture is highly desirable.

To qualify, candidates must possess an ALA-accredited master’s degree in library or information science and have a minimum of one year of relevant work experience. Highly relevant work experience in a fast-paced business environment, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in an applicable field, may suffice in lieu of the master’s degree.
