Learning Resources Center Manager (LRC)/FT/North Raleigh, NC
Strayer University is seeking a responsible, customer-service oriented individual for the position of Learning Resources Center Manager to ensure the proper functioning of the Learning Resources Center (LRC) and Computer Lab(s) for the North Raleigh Campus. Duties include, promoting information literacy, assisting students in library/research activities, handling initial career services needs, maintaining a career development area, administering placement tests, and managing LRC/Computer Lab staff. To peform this job successfully, individual for this entry-level position should have well-developed oral and written communication skills; be able to work independently; be detail oriented and customer service focused; possess a thorough knowledge of library services and be technologically proficient with basic computer networking and major desktop programs knowledge. A Bachelor’s degree is required with an English or Library Science major preferred.
